SECOND SATURDAY NIGHT OF AUGUST

Every second Saturday night of the month Sazi's Bar in Espana, Manila comes to life when the rude boys, skinheads, punk rockers innocent bystanders, casuals and weekend offenders flock together hang out drink, dine and dance and be merry. Bisikleta Productions have been hosting this event ever since A Boy Named Hil arrived from a job stint a few months ago in Vietnam and slowly but surely its gaining quite a considerable amount of attendance from like minded individuals who just want to drink copious amount of alcohol, listen to music and basically having fun and not looking for a fight.

Last Saturday was another fun filled night as the bands entertain the rowdy crowd with so much fervour that resulted to an all night skanking, slam dancing. and never ending infectious smiles on their faces. The beer soaked floor and sweaty bodies did not stop the crowd from singing along to every tune that the bands are dishing out. See you again this coming September for another fun, fun fun Saturday Night!

This Saturday August 14, 2010 The Rude Maynila Sessions at Sazi's Bar is back with THE STEADY MOVIN' BEAT, PINKCOW, EINSTEIN CHAKRAS, THE PINSTRIPED REBELS, CROOKEDBEAT, TOLONGUEZ DEATH SQUAD, THE OUTCOME, LESS THAN JUAN, THE SNEEKERS and THE EXSENADORS! Expect to hear Ska, Punk, New Wave and Oi! music.

RETURN OF THE SELECTER

After an awe inspiring 30 years, Original founder & songwriter Neol Davies, returns as The Selecter. Until recently, Davies had ceded The Selecter spotlight to Pauline Black While the band's 30th anniversary came and went in 2009 without a formal reunion, Black has been carrying the flag for the band and its contribution to 2-Tone, performing shows across the globe.

Neol Davies had unveiled his new version of the band at the Hoxton Bar & Grill in London last July 29, 2010 with a brand new frontman and all female horn section. Expect to hear more of the band and possibly some new recordings in the near future, meanwhile watch the video below.
