After an awe inspiring 30 years, Original founder & songwriter Neol Davies, returns as The Selecter. Until recently, Davies had ceded The Selecter spotlight to Pauline Black While the band's 30th anniversary came and went in 2009 without a formal reunion, Black has been carrying the flag for the band and its contribution to 2-Tone, performing shows across the globe.Neol Davies had unveiled his new version of the band at the Hoxton Bar & Grill in London last July 29, 2010 with a brand new frontman and all female horn section. Expect to hear more of the band and possibly some new recordings in the near future, meanwhile watch the video below.
